CHME 2014

 The Annual Research conference of the Council for Hospitality Management Education takes place from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th May 2014 in Buxton, Derbyshire. Research Themes for Events

This 2013 E-book is available in full on the Leisure Tourism database from the E-Resources list on  the Library Portal page. Just click on the link from the E-Resources list, log-in with the username and password provided in the description and type in the title. Each chapter represents a different theme and these include; sport tourism, media spectacle, technology, motivations and volunteerism

Institute of Hospitality - Management Guides

Looking for an Event Organisers Toolkit? Want to uderstand more about Pay Benchmarking? Or maybe you're looking for legislation on Food Waste? All this and much more is covered in the Management Guides produced by the Institute of Hospitality. All you need to do to access these great handy guides is go to the Institute of Hospitality site from the E-Resources (Athens) list in the Library Portal page and register for free. All UCB students will be able to obtain a log-in to the organisation this way. More on the features within the IOH site to follow in later posts!
